Hi, I’m Grace. I have spent the majority of my life developing the potential inside of me into a world-class competitor. From high school athletics to the world stage of the Olympic Games, I have learned that although the physical body is the vessel that propels the body into incredible achievements, it is the mind that harnesses our raw power into a focused tool to accomplish whatever goal we set.
I’m also excited to share the tools I’ve learned through my 13-month immersive Inneryoga teacher training. It has reinforced the importance of training the mind and equipped me with knowledge to support this on a deeper level. Throughout my studies and practice, I realized how beneficial the practice of Inneryoga is for anyone, especially a high performance athlete.
Throughout my journey, I’ve pushed myself physically and mentally while learning valuable lessons that will help aspiring collegiate student athletes or Olympic hopefuls. I am excited to share insights and support in an individualized manner or in a group setting.
There is a precision of movement that can be achieved through an awareness of body position, sensation, and control. With any program that I individually design, the athlete is encouraged to understand the purpose of the movement and tune into their own body to understand the movement chain connecting the body and the mind in a powerful way. Cultivating body-mind awareness allows an athlete to discover a balance that is the foundation for athletic success.
